HOMEMADE BLUEBERRY JAM PIE
Hello my English readers,
It's to cook blueberry Jam Pie!
For Breakfast, tea-time or for a night snack.
Crostata is a must have for every sweet tooth.
Ingredients for the short crust pastry:
300 gr of flour
150 gr of sugar
150 gr of butter
a pinch of salt
2 eggs ( 1 whole plus 1 yolk)
1/2 lemon ( the zest of half a lemon)
- Mix all the ingredient in order to obtain a smooth ball of pastry.
- Cover it with a plastic film and put it in the fridge for about 45mins.
- Take it out of the fridge and roll it to fit a baking pan (of your choice). If you want you can reserve a small part of the pastry which you will use to make small stripes to decorate the pie.
- Once rolled fill it with blueberry jam (you can find the recipe in a previous post)
- Put it in the oven at 220° for about 35-45 mins.
